Sensex drops 100pts, HLL, SBI down 3%

The Sensex is now down 100 points (1.3%) at 7,874.

HLL has slipped 3% (Rs 5) to Rs 161. Reliance has dropped Rs 3 to Rs 761. SBI has declined 2.7% (Rs 24) to Rs 861. ONGC is up Rs 3 at Rs 935.

Infosys has declined Rs 25 to Rs 2,487. TCS is down Rs 4 at Rs 1,418.

Tata Motors is still down over 3% (Rs 16) at Rs 482. Bajaj is down Rs 35 at Rs 1,730. Hero Honda is still up Rs 13 at Rs 717.

Bharti is down Rs 9 at Rs 328. BHEL has declined Rs 25 to Rs 1,135.

Cipla has tanked 5% (Rs 19) to Rs 356. Ranbaxy is up Rs 6 at Rs 363.

Grasim has dropped over 3% (Rs 38) to Rs 1,115. ACC and Gujarat Ambuja are also trading with losses.

Declines are ahead of advances nearly 2:1 now - out of 2,347 scrips traded, 1,528 have declined, 770 have moved up and 49 are unchanged.
