Sensex drops 112pts; SBI tumbles 4%

The Sensex has plunged to lower levels and is now down 112 points at 13,688.

SBI has tumbled 3.5% to Rs 1,305. ICICI Bank has plunged 2.5% to Rs 855, and HDFC Bank has shed 1.4% to Rs 1,070.

Tata Steel has dropped nearly 3% to Rs 469. Reliance Communications has slipped nearly 2% to Rs 439.

Hindalco and Bharti Airtel is down 1% each to Rs 178 and Rs 627, respectively.

Infosys has advanced 1% to Rs 2,220. TCS has moved up nearly 1% to Rs 1,186.
