Sensex drops 20 pts, Vasishti Detergents up 9%

The Sensex has dropped 20 points to 7,586.

Reliance has declined Rs 5 to Rs 706. SBI is down Rs 7 at Rs 771, and HLL is down Rs 2 at Rs 160. ITC has lost Rs 7 to Rs 1,717.

Infosys has slipped Rs 11 to Rs 2,260. Satyam is down Rs 5 at Rs 503.

Reliance Energy has lost Rs 13 to Rs 616.

Grasim is still up 2% (Rs 25) at Rs 1,256. ICICI Bank is up Rs 6 at Rs 484. Bajaj Auto, HDFC, L&T, NTPC and Wipro are also trading with gains.

BEML is still up 7% at Rs 699. Vasishti Detergents has advanced 9% to Rs 16.

Reliance Capital has dropped 5% to Rs 446.

Reliance Capital is the most active counter with a turnover of nearly Rs 260 crore followed by Reliance (Rs 207 crore) and VSNL (Rs 114 crore).
