Sensex drops 41pts; Guj Ambuja gains 3%

The Sensex has dropped 41 points to 6,610.

Infosys has slipped Rs 26 to Rs 2,062. Wipro has declined 2% (Rs 17) to Rs 732.

ITC is down Rs 9 at Rs 1,306. ONGC has declined Rs 8 at Rs 820. Reliance has dropped Rs 4 to Rs 527. SBI has lost Rs 3 to Rs 647. HLL is steady at Rs 147.

Gujarat Ambuja has zoomed 3% (Rs 13) to Rs 439. Grasim is up Rs 9 at Rs 1,350. ACC is up Rs 6 at Rs 357.

Bharti has dropped 3% (Rs 7) to Rs 219. Hero Honda is also down 3% (Rs 19) at Rs 592.

Reliance Energy, Tata Motors, Tisco and Tata Power are trading on a weak note.

L&T has gained Rs 12 to Rs 985. Maruti is up Rs 5 at Rs 468.
