Sensex drops 42pts, Ranbaxy down 4%

The Sensex has now declined 42 points to 8,160.

Infosys has slipped Rs 43  to Rs 2,544. Satyam is down Rs 17 at Rs 554. TCS is still up Rs 6 at Rs 1,439.

Reliance has declined Rs 8 to Rs 763. SBI is down Rs 11 at Rs 913. ONGC is down Rs 2 at Rs 987.

Ranbaxy has dropped 4.5% (Rs 20) to Rs 420. BHEL is now down Rs 22 at Rs 1,172.

Hero Honda is still up Rs 17 at Rs 713. Bharti is now up Rs 4 at Rs 323. Cipla is steady at Rs 396 - up Rs 10. Hindalco is steady at Rs 132. L&T and Maruti are also trading with gains.
