Sensex drops 85pts

The Sensex has declined nearly a per cent (85 points) to 8,526.

ONGC is now down 2.8% (Rs 28) at Rs 992. While SBI is down Rs 18 at Rs 874, Reliance is down Rs 11 at Rs 818.

Ranbaxy has dropped 3.6% (Rs 14) to Rs 377. Maruti has declined 2.8% (Rs 17) to Rs 578.

L&T is still up Rs 21 at Rs 1,571. ACC, Bajaj and Infosys are trading with marginal gains.
