Sensex drops below 8,000

The Sensex has dropped 1.9% (154 points) to 7,968.

ONGC is down over 5% (Rs 53) at Rs 930. Reliance is down Rs 11 at Rs 746. SBI has slipped Rs 15 to Rs 896. HLL has lost Rs 5 to Rs 170. ITC is down over 2% at Rs 121.

Infosys is still down Rs 44 at Rs 2,487. TCS is now down 3.8% (Rs 55) at Rs 1,384.

Bajaj is down Rs 40 at Rs 1,733. Hero Honda is still down 4% (Rs 31) at Rs 686.

Cipla has slipped over 3% (Rs 14) to Rs 383. Dr. Reddy's is down 4.8% (Rs 41) at Rs 813.

L&T has dropped over 3% (Rs 49) to Rs 1,384. BHEL is down Rs 17 at Rs 1,155.
