Sensex ends at 10,595, down 31pts

The Sensex after moving in a range of 10,556 to 10,690, finally ended with a loss of 31 points at 10,595.

Tata Motors zoomed 4.7% to Rs 904. Bharti Tele surged 3% to Rs 408. Maruti gained 2.7% at Rs 928.

Tata Power and Reliance Energy spurted over 2% each to Rs 547 and Rs 634, respectively.

ACC added 1.5% to Rs 683, and Tata Steel moved up 1% to Rs 454.

HDFC dropped 2.8% to Rs 1,318, and Larsen & Toubro slipped 2.6% to Rs 2,410.

Hero Honda declined 2.2% to Rs 880.  ICIC Bank was down 1.8% at Rs 609.

TCS, ITC, NTPC and Infosys were the other prominent losers among the Sensex stocks today.
