Sensex ends at 11,620, up 47pts

The Sensex opened marginally (12 points) higher at 11,584. Uncertainity in early deals saw the index slip into red to touch a low of 11,552. The index, thereafter, moved in a extremely narrow range of 11,560-11,600 for most part of the trading day.

Late buying saw the index spurt to a high of 11,633 - up 81 points from the day's low. The Sensex finally settled with a gain of 47 points at 11,620.
