Sensex ends at 11,933, up 29pts

The Sensex opened a tad higher at 11,909, up four points from its previous close. Steady buying in the market saw the index rally to a high of 11,983.

The index thereafter displayed range-bound movement throughout the day. Some profit taking towards the close saw the index pare gains and finish with a marginal gain of 29 points at 11,933.
