Sensex ends at 13,874, up 29pts

The Sensex today moved in a very narrow range of 84 odd points. The index which opened flat at 13,847 (up two points) slipped to a low of 13,829, before bouncing back to touch a new all-time intra-day high of 13,913.

The Sensex finally settled with a marginal gain of 29 points at 13,874.
