Sensex ends down 152pts at 10,768

The Sensex opened with a negative gap of 84 points at 10,836. Continued selling in the market saw the index drift lower as the day progressed. The index touched a low of 10,703 - down 217 points from its previous close.

Selective buying towards the end saw the index recover some of its lost ground and settle with a loss of 152 points at 10,768.
