The Sensex finally ended (provisional) at 14,539, down 246 points.

The Sensex has slipped further into the red and is now at the day's low of 14,450, down 336 points.
DLF has slumped 8.5% to Rs 309. Jaiprakash Associates has plunged 8% to Rs 204. Tata Motors has dropped 7% to Rs 291.
Sterlite, Reliance Infrastructure and Reliance Communications have shed 5-6% each to Rs 605, Rs 1,194 and Rs 290, respectively.
ICICI Bank has slipped 4% to Rs 720. ACC, Reliance, Larsen & Toubro, BHEL, Hindalco, ITC, Tata Steel, HDFC, NTPC, SBI and Sun Pharma have also declined 1-3% each.
However, TCS has added 1.5% to Rs 392.
The market breadth is extremely negative. Out of 2,643 stocks traded 72% have declined while 25% have advanced.
