Sensex ends down 76pts at 19,527

After opening with a positive gap of 105 points at 19,708, the Sensex soon pared gains and exhibited lacklustre movement for most of the trading day.

A fresh round of selling in the late noon trades saw the index slip to a low of 19,482 - down 226 points from the day's open. The Sensex finally ended with a loss of 76 points at 19,527.
