Sensex ends up 20pts

The Sensex has finally ended (provisional) at 16,731 - up 20 points.

The Nifty has ended (provisional) up 10 points at 4,976.

The Sensex has gained again and is now at 16,751, up 40 points. The NSE Nifty is now at 4,976, up 10 points.

The BSE auto index has gained over 2% to 6,611, followed by gains in realty (1.2%) and healthcare (1%) indices.

Reliance Infrastructure has rallied over 5% to Rs 1,251. Maruti Suzuki has surged 4.5% to Rs 1,630 and Jaiprakash Associates has advanced 3.5% to Rs 256.

ACC and Mahindra & Mahindra have moved up 2.5% each to Rs 847 and Rs 890, respectively.

DLF, Grasim and SBI have added 1.5% each to Rs 427, Rs 2,817 and Rs 2,141, respectively.

Hindalco and Reliance has gained 1.5% and 1% , respectively.
