The Sensex has ended (provisional) at 17,441 - up 30 points.
The Nifty has ended at 5,224 - up 18 points.

Markets recovered in late-noon trades and are now trading firmly in green.
The Sensex is up 40 points at 17,450. The Nifty is up 20 points at 5,225.
The BSE healthcare index has jumped over 1.6% to its highest at 5,299. The oil and metal indices have also gained aruond 1% each.
HDFC Bank has gained 2.3% at Rs 1,881. Reliance and Tata power have added 1.4% each to Rs 1,089 and Rs 1,354, respectively.
Tata Steel, ONGC and Reliance Infrastructure are up 1% each.
However, weakness continues in Bharti Airtel. The stock has dropped 2.8% to Rs 307.
Tata Motors has slipped 2.5% to Rs 741. DLF has declined 1.8% to Rs 296.
ACC and Grasim have dipped 1.2% each to Rs 957 and Rs 2,853, respectively.
ICICI Bank, Wipro and Sun Pharma are also in red.
