BHEL and Reliance Communications have rallied 4% each to Rs 1,453 and Rs 405, respectively.
Ranbaxy has moved up 3.7% to Rs 533. DLF has gained 2.6% at Rs 392.
HDFC and Larsen & Toubro have advanced 2.3% each to Rs 1,980 and Rs 2,285, respectively.
Tata Steel has slipped 1.5% to Rs 648.
