Mirroring postive cues from the European markets , the Sensex after slipping has again recovered and is now at 15,526, up 399 points.
HDFC Bank and Tata Power have surged 6.5% to Rs 1,508 and Rs 1,211, respectively.
Wipro, Reliance Infrastrutures and Sterlite have moved up over 5% each at Rs 447, Rs 1,209 and Rs 687, respectively.
ONGC and Larsen & Toubro have gained over 4.5% each at Rs 1,187 and Rs 1,649, respectively.
Bharti Airtel, ITC and Tata Steel have advanced 3% each at Rs 840, Rs 196 and Rs 452, respectively.
Ranbaxy, NTPC, Hindustan Unilever, ACC, Grasim, HDFC, Reliance Communications, Reliance, TCS and Maruti are up 2-3% each.
DLF, on the other hand has slipped 1% to Rs 397.
The breadth is fairly positive, out of 2,658 shares traded, 1,397 shares have advanced and 1,187 have declined so far on the BSE.
