The Sensex has zoomed to a high of 15,908 and is now moving steady at 15,887, up 220 points.
The NSE Nifty is at 4,725, up 64 points.
All the sectoral indices are in green. The BSE Auto and the realty index have advanced 2.5% each to 6,028 and 4,525, respectively.
Maruti has gained 3% at Rs 1,482. Hero Honda, DLF, Reliance Communications, Tata Motors and Jaipraksh Associates have advanced over over 2.5% each to Rs 1,555, Rs 436, Rs 503 and Rs 233, respectively.
Mahindra & Mahindra, ICICI Bank, Tata Steel, Sun Pharma, Infosys and Reliance Infrastructure are up over 1.5% each.
The market breadth is positive, out of 2,359 shares traded, 1,778 have advanced and 522 have declined so far on the BSE.
