Sensex flat; advances ahead of declines

The Sensex is now down 2 points at 12,959.

Reliance is flat at Rs 1,225. ONGC has dropped Rs 10 to Rs 806.

Infosys is up Rs 9 at Rs 2,104. HLL is now up Rs 2 at Rs 235.

HDFC has slipped Rs 24 (1.7%) to Rs 1,446.

BHEL has gained Rs 26 to Rs 2,440. Maruti, Hero Honda, HDFC Bank and Hindalco are steady at higher levels.

Advances continue to be ahead of declines - out of 2,108 scrips traded, 1,138 have moved up and 896 have declined.
