Sensex flat at 12,145; DLF zooms 7%

The Sensex after slipping into the red, is now trying to recover and is now close to yesterday's levels. The index is now at 12,145, down 12 points

Realty index leads the rally so far. The Realty index has rallied over 4% to 2,413.

DLF has surged around 7% to Rs 252. HDFC has moved up 4% to Rs 1,916. ACC and Reliance Infrastructures have gained 3% each at Rs 613 and Rs 815, respectively.

Jaiprakash Associates and Grasim Industries have added 2% each to Rs 144 and Rs 1,807, respectively.

On the other hand, Sterlite and HDFC have declined around 2% each to Rs 482 and Rs 1,168, repsectively.

 

Market breadth is positive - out of 1,892 shares traded, 1,150 have advanced , 667 have declined and 75 are unchanged so far on the BSE.
