The Sensex exihited range-bound movement in the last one-hour or so. The index touched a high of 14,714, and since then moving a narrow range of 50-odd points. The index is now up 26 points at 14,685.
NTPC and HDFC have gained 2% each at Rs 204 and Rs 2,447, respectively.
Tata Power has moved up 1.7% to Rs 1,189. Sun Pharma has added 1.5% to Rs 1,164.
Infosys has slipped 1.7% to Rs 1,765.
The market breadth is marginally negative - out of 2,287 stocks traded, 1,111 have declined, 1,076 have advanced.
