Sensex flat; breadth nearly neutral

The Sensex is now down up eight points at 13,407.

Larsen & Toubro and HDFC Bank have gained around 1.5% each to Rs 1,457 and Rs 1,051, respectively.

Reliance and ICICI Bank are up 1% each at Rs 1,250 and Rs 827, respectively.

HDFC, Reliance Energy, ONGC and HLL have dropped 1.5% each to Rs 1,520, Rs 518, Rs 823 and Rs 226, respectively.

The market breadth is close to neutral - out of 2,337 stocks traded so far, 1,221 have advanced, 1,046 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
