Sensex flat; breadth +ve

The Sensex is now up eight points at 14,524.

ICICI Bank and Reliance Energy have advanced over 2% each to Rs 968 and Rs 561, respectively.

Grasim, ACC and HLL have spurted 1% each to Rs 2,820, Rs 1,051 and Rs 210, respectively.

Reliance Communications has slipped over 4% to Rs 494. HDFC and Hero Honda have dropped 1.3% each to Rs 1,794 and Rs 721, respectively.

Wipro and HDFC Bank are down 1% each at Rs 628 and Rs 1,090, respectively.

Out of 2,539 stocks traded so far, 1,482 have moved up, 1,000 have slipped and the rest are unchanged.
