Sensex flat; Cipla, BHEL slip

The Sensex is now up eight points 13,868.

Reliance Communications has gained 1.5% at Rs 482.

TCS, Tata Steel, ICICI Bank and HDFC have advanced 1% each to Rs 1,207, Rs 486, Rs 903 and Rs 1,638, respectively.

Cipla and BHEL have shed around 1.5% each to Rs 256 and Rs 2,290, respectively.

NTPC is down 1% at Rs 136.

Out of 2,192 stocks traded so far, 1,108 have advanced, 1,015 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
