Sensex flat; Cipla, Maruti firm

The Sensex is now flat at 11,479, up two points.

Cipla and Maruti have advanced over 2% each to Rs 250 and Rs 837, respectively. Tata Motors has added 1.7% at Rs 852.

ACC and Ranbaxy have gained 1.3% at Rs 902 and Rs 410, respectively.

TCS, HLL and Dr.Reddy's are up 1% each at Rs 970, Rs 238 and Rs 1,504, respectively.

Hindalco has slipped over 2% to Rs 161. HDFC Bank is down 1.6% at Rs 835.

Reliance Communications, Tata Steel, Reliance Energy and Bharti Airtel are down over 1% each.

Out of 2,400 stocks traded so far, 1,207 have advanced, 1,112 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
