Sensex flat; HDFC, Cipls slip

The Sensex is now flat at 11,572.

Hindalco has gained nearly 2% at Rs 176. Larsen & Toubro has added 1.5% to Rs 2,386.

Ranbaxy, Reliance Energy and Grasim are up over 1% each at Rs 394, Rs 451 and Rs 2,225, respectively.

HDFC has dropped 2% to Rs 1,254. Cipla has slipped 1.8% to Rs 242.

HDFC Bank is down 1% at Rs 842.

Out of 2,258 stocks traded so far, 1,367 have advanced, 815 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
