Sensex flat; HDFC, ICICI Bank move up

The Sensex is almost flat at 12,365.

HDFC has advanced nearly 2% to Rs 1,474. ICICI Bank has surged 1.5% to Rs 699.

HLL and Ranbaxy have spurted over 1% each to Rs 260 and Rs 425, respectively.

Cipla, HDFC Bank, ACC, ONGC and SBI are the other major gainers.

Dr.Reddy's and Satyam have slipped around 1.5% each to Rs 727 and Rs 820, respectively. Maruti and Reliance Communications are down 1% each to Rs 953 and Rs 343, respectively.
