Sensex flat; HDFC moves up 2%

The Sensex is almost unchanged at 15,423 - up one point.

Cipla has zoomed 4.8% to Rs 180, and Reliance Energy have soared 3.7% to Rs 806.

Grasim has surged 2% to Rs 2,996. HDFC has rallied 1.8% to Rs 2,036.

Larsen & Toubro and Infosys are up 1% each at Rs 2,615 and Rs 1,881, respectively.

Tata Motors has dropped 2.4% to Rs 686. Hindalco has shed 1.7% to Rs 158.

NTPC has slipped 1.5% to Rs 183. Tata Steel and BHEL have declined 1.3% each to Rs 683 and Rs 1,916, respectively.

Bharti Airtel, Bajaj Auto, ITC, ONGC and Wipro are down around 1% each.

Out of 2,701 stocks traded so far, 1,616 have advanced, 1,028 have declined and 57 are unchanged.
