Sensex flat; Hindalco, Cipla shine

The Sensex is now flat at 11,147.

Hindalco has surged 2.5% to Rs 168. Cipla has spurted over 2% to Rs 237.

Grasim and HDFC have advanced 1.5% each to Rs 2,178 and Rs 1,258, respectively.

ACC, HLL, Reliance Energy and Hero Honda are up 1% each at Rs 878, Rs 226, Rs 472 and Rs 685, respectively.

ONGC and Satyam have slipped 1% each to Rs 1,191 and Rs 758, respectively.

Out of 2,136 stocks traded so far, 1,434 have advanced, 637 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
