Sensex flat; ICICI, Bajaj Auto down 4%

The Sensex is almost flat 18,151 - down two points.

The NSE Nifty is up 26 points at 5,300.

Hindustan Unilever and Grasim have surged 3.5% each to Rs 206 and Rs 3,051, respectively.

Hindalco, Cipla and Infosys have rallied around 3% each to Rs 179, Rs 191 and Rs 1,489, respectively.

ITC, Tata Steel and Mahindra & Mahindra has advanced 2.4% each to Rs 201, Rs 715 and Rs 702, respectively.

HDFC, Ambuja Cements and ONGC have moved up around 2% each to Rs 2,843, Rs 117 and Rs 1,018, respectively.

Ranbaxy has gained 1.4% at Rs 355, and Wipro is up over 1% at Rs 411.

ICICI Bank and Bajaj Auto have plunged over 4% each to Rs 1,220 and Rs 2,358, respectively.

SBI has tumbled 3.4% to Rs 2,230, and HDFC Bank has shed 3% at Rs 1,536.

Bharti Airtel and BHEL have dropped around 2.5% each at Rs 848 and Rs 2,043, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro and DLF have slipped over 1.5% each to Rs 3,781 and Rs 879, respectively.

Out of 2,766 stocks traded so far, 1,367 have advanced, 1,349 have declined and 50 are unchanged.
