Sensex flat in early trades; Bharti gains 1%

The Sensex is now flat at 14,486 - down two points.

Bharti Airtel has spurted 1.3% to Rs 844. Satyam and Grasim are the other prominent gainers at Rs 459 and Rs 2,480, respectively.
