The Sensex opened with a positive gap of 73 points at 15,577. After touching a high of 15,580, the index soon slipped into red. The idnex has now moved back into the green and is up eight points at 15,512.
The NSE Nifty is up eight points at 4,628.
Reliance has moved up 1.5% to Rs 2,363.
Hindustan Unilever and Satyam are up 1% each at Rs 244 and Rs 415, respectively.
Maruti has tumbled 3% to Rs 694. Sterlite has shed 2.7% at Rs 608.
HDFC has slipped 1.6% to Rs 2,529. ICICI Bank, Infosys and Tata Motors are down 1.3% each at Rs 760, Rs 1,648 and Rs 442, respectively.
