Sensex flat; M&M, L&T, Rel Comm gain 3%

The Sensex is now almost flat at 18,658 - down two points.

Mahindra & Mahindra, Reliance Communications and Larsen & Toubro have rallied 3% each to Rs 781, Rs 747 and Rs 3,473, respectively.

ONGC has surged 2% to Rs 1,030. BHEL has moved up 1.7% to Rs 2,370.

Tata Motors and NTPC have advanced 1.5% each to Rs 818 and Rs 221, respectively.

Ambuja Cements, ACC and Dr.Reddy's are up over 1% each at Rs 153, Rs 1,231 and Rs 640, respectively.

Infosys has plunged 6% to Rs 1,997, and Satyam has slumped 5.6% to Rs 457. Wipro has shed 4% to Rs 483, and TCS has tumbled 3.3% to Rs 1,088.
