Sensex flat; market breadth positive

The Sensex is swinging in and out of the positive zone and is now up two points 12,370.

ICICI Bank has rallied nearly 2% to Rs 701. HDFC has moved up  1.6% to Rs 701.

HLL, ONGC, Ranbaxy and SBI have gained 1% each at Rs 261, Rs 1,198, Rs 426 and Rs 1,009, respectively.

ACC, HDFC Bank and Cipla are the other prominent gainers.

Dr.Reddy's and Satyam have slipped 1.5% each to Rs 727 and Rs 820, respectively. Maruti and Reliance Communications are down 1% each to Rs 953 and Rs 343, respectively.

The market breadth is positive - out of 2,075 stocks traded so far, 1,107 have advanced, 887 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
