Sensex flat; Mid-cap, Small-cap indices up 1.5%

The Sensex is now up four points at 10,746.

The BSE Mid-cap and Small-cap indices are up 1.5% each at 4293 and 5101, respectively.

Dr.Reddy's has soared over 4% to Rs 1,425. SBI has rallied 3.6% to Rs 791. BHEL has gained nearly 3% at Rs 2,008.

Tata Steel and Grasim have surged over 2.5% each to Rs 509 and Rs 2,127, respectively. Hindalco has added 2% to Rs 169.

Ranbaxy and Hero Honda has advanced 1.7% each to Rs 372 and Rs 704, respectively. ACC and Reliance Communications are up 1.5% each at Rs 843 and Rs 260, respectively.

Out of 2,286 stocks traded so far, 1,374 have advanced, 836 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
