Sensex flat; Realty index slips

The Sensex has recovered from teh day's low and is now flat at 13,769.

Yesterday's biggest loser, the BSE Realty index is down 2.2% at 2,849.

ICICI Bank has slipped 3% to Rs 635. Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors, DLF and BHEL have shed 2.5% each.

Larsen & Toubro has dropped 1.5% to Rs 1,390. ONGC is down 1% at Rs 999.

Meanwhile, Jaipraksh Associates and Sterlite has gained 2.5% to Rs 199 and Rs 559, respectively.

Sun Pharma has added 2% to Rs 1,166. Reliance, TCS, Reliance Infrastructure, ITC and HDFC Bank have moved up 1-2% each.

The market breadth continues to be negative. Out of 2,293 stocks traded, 1,401 have declined while 824 have advanced.
