Sensex flat; Rel Energy up 2%

The Sensex continues to remain flat at 20,219 - up two points.

Reliance Energy has surged 1.7% to Rs 2,171, and Tata Steel has gained 1.4% at Rs 919.

Hindalco and NTPC have advanced over 1% each to Rs 213 and Rs 243, respectively.

DLF, Mahindra & Mahindra and Reliance are the other prominent gainers.

Wipro has shed 2.6% at Rs 535.

HDFC Bank and Bharti Airtel have slipped 1.4% each to Rs 1,720 and Rs 953, respectively.

ICICI Bank is down 1% at Rs 1,230.

Out of 2,794 stocks traded so far, 2,042 have advanced, 713 have declined and 39 are unchanged.
