Sensex flat; REL up 2%

The Sensex is flat at 15,291 up one point.

Reliance Energy (REL) has soared 1.8% to Rs 711. Reliance Communications and Bajaj Auto have rallied 1.5% each to Rs 569 and Rs 2,250, respectively.

BHEL has gained 1.3% at Rs 1,644. Tata Steel and HDFC Bank have advanced over 1% each to Rs 689 and Rs 1,212, respectively.

Ambuja Cements and Dr.Reddy's have shed 1.5% each to Rs 135 and Rs 664, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro has slipped 1.3% to Rs 2,361. Tata Motors, Maruti and ONGC are down 1% each to Rs 741, Rs 819 and Rs 899, respectively.

Out of 2,512 stocks traded so far, 1,232 have declined, 1,211 have advanced and 69 are unchanged.
