Sensex flat; Satyam, HDFC Bank soar

The Sensex is now almost flat 12,937, down one point.

Satyam and HDFC Bank have soared over 5% each to Rs 434 and Rs 981, respectively. TCS has rallied 3.7% to Rs 1,233, and Wipro has added 3.5% to Rs 580.

Reliance Communications has flard up 2.7% to Rs 419, and Infosys has surged 2% to Rs 2,122.

Gujarat Ambuja has plunged almost 7% to Rs 108. Graism has tumbled 5.4% to Rs 2,094, and ACC has dropped 3.5% to Rs 869.

Dr.Reddy's has slumped 3.4% to Rs 655, and Hindalco has shed 2.8% to Rs 136.

BHEL and Hero Honda have slipped over 2% each to Rs 2,131 and Rs 662, respectively.

Cipla, HDFC and Bajaj Auto are down 1.5% each to Rs 229, Rs 1,479 and Rs 2,580, respectively.

Out of 2,412 stocks traded so far, 1,502 have declined, 849 have advanced and 61 are unchanged.
