Sensex flat; Tata Motors rallies 3%

The Sensex touched a low of 14,084 in early trades, and has now rebounded into the positive zone. The index is now up two points at 14,139.

Tata Motors has rallied nearly 3% to Rs 764. Maruti has surged 1.8% to Rs 808.

Reliance Energy and HDFC Bank have moved up 1.3% each to Rs 532 and Rs 1,027, respectively.

Satyam has shed 1.7% to Rs 467. Infosys, ICICI Bank and TCS are down around 1% each at Rs 2,034, Rs 941 and Rs 1,215, respectively.
