Sensex flat; Tata Motors up 2%

The Sensex is flat at 12,237.

Tata Motors has rallied nearly 2% to Rs 851. Reliance has gained 1.2% at Rs 1,170, and Bharti Airtel has added 1% to Rs 474.

Bajaj Auto has slipped 1.2% to Rs 2,882.

TCS, HLL, Dr.Reddy's, ITC and Larsen & Toubro are down almost 1% each to Rs 1,032, Rs 255, Rs 742, Rs 186 and Rs 2,634, respectively.

The market breadth is negative - out of 2,389 stocks traded so far, 1,226 have declined, 1,080 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
