Sensex flat; TCS down 2%

The Sensex is almost flat at 19,608, up five points.

Ambuja Cements has soared over 3% to Rs 157.

Tata Steel, DLF and Mahindra & Mahindra have moved up around 1.7% each to Rs 853, Rs 963 and Rs 763, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro and BHEL have advanced over 1% each to Rs 4,229 and Rs 2,790, respectively.

TCS has dropped 2% to Rs 1,032.

Wipro and ICICI Bank have slipped 1.3% each to Rs 487 and Rs 1,151, respectively.

Maruti and Reliance are down 1% each at Rs 1,021 and Rs 2,902, respectively.

Out of 2,675 stocks traded so far, 1,835 have advanced, 782 have declined and 58 are unchanged.
