Sensex flat; Titan tops value chart

The Sensex is now almost flat at 10,629 - up just two points.

Tata Motors stands firm with a gain of 3.5% at Rs 893. Bajaj Auto has added 2.4% to Rs 2,789.

Bharti Tele has moved up 1.7% to Rs 403. Tata Power is up 1% at Rs 541.

HDFC has slipped 1.6% to Rs 1,334, and Gujarat Ambuja has dropped 1.4% to Rs 90.15.

Infosys and TCS have declined over 1% each to Rs 2,819 and Rs 1,723, respectively.

The market breadth is slightly negative. Out of 2,163 stocks traded so far, 1,060 have declined, 1,017 have advanced and 84 are unchanged.

Titan tops the value chart with a turnover of Rs 115.01 crore followed by Maruti (Rs 82.86 crore), Tata Motors (Rs 65.84 crore), Nagarjuna Constructions (Rs 47.03 crore) and Reliance (Rs 33.33 crore).

Reliance Natural Resources leads the volume chart with trades of around 35.65 lakh shares followed by Reliance Capital Ventures (15.79 lakh), Sunil Hi-Tech (14.50 lakh), Amar Remedies (14.18 lakh) and Hindustan Constructions (14.13 lakh).
