Sensex flat; Wipro drops 2.5%

The Sensex is now almost flat 12,886, up two points.

HDFC Bank has dropped 3% to Rs 980, and HDFC has shed 2.7% to Rs 1,474.

Wipro has tumbled 2.5% to Rs 560. BHEL and Satyam have slipped over 1% each to Rs 2,434 and Rs 446, respectively.

Ranbaxy has surged 3% to Rs 424. Dr.Reddy's has rallied 1.7% to Rs 728, and ICICI Bank has advanced 1.5% to Rs 738.

Larsen & Toubro, Reliance Communications and ITC have moved up over 1% each to Rs 1,306, Rs 377 and Rs 195, respectively.

HLL and SBI are up 1% each at Rs 234 and Rs 1,043, respectively.

Out of 2,363 stocks traded so far, 1,235 have advanced, 1,066 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
