Sensex hits 8,600

The Sensex has zoomed 75 points to 8,601.

HLL has added 1.9% (Rs 3) to Rs 184. ONGC has gained Rs 25 to Rs 1,066. While Reliance has added 1.4% (Rs 11) to Rs 799, SBI is up Rs 8 at Rs 936.

Hero Honda has gained over 2% (Rs 16) to Rs 728. BHEL is up Rs 21 at Rs 1,155.

HDFC is still up 3% (Rs 34) at Rs 1,035. While HDFC Bank is up Rs18 at Rs 698, ICICI Bank is steady at Rs 599 - up Rs 11.
