Sensex in red, Maruti slips 1.5%

The Sensex has slipped into negative zone and is now down four points at 12,364.

HDFC has advanced nearly 2% to Rs 1,472. ACC and Cipla have spurted over 1% each to Rs 991 and Rs 368, respectively.

Maruti has slipped 1.5% to Rs 949. TCS and BHEL are down nearly 1% each at Rs 1,033 and Rs 2,369, respectively.

Reliace Communications, Bharti Airtel, satyam and Tata Motors are the other prominent losers.
