Sensex lacklustre; Infosys, TCS slip

The Sensex is exhibiting lacklustre movement and is now at 17,222, up 22 points.

The NSE Nifty is at 5,136, up 14 points.

The BSE realty index has topped the sectoral group, up 2% at 3,966. The other movers include bankex and auto indices, up over 1% each.

Tata Motors has soared 3.5% to Rs 722. DLF and ICICI Bank have advanced around 2.5% to Rs 379 and Rs 906, respectively.

Jaiprakash Associates, SBI, Maruti Suzuki and Reliance Industries are up 1% each.

Among the Sensex losers, Reliance Infrastructure and BHEL have slipped 1.5% each to Rs 1,065 and Rs 2,200, respectively.

ITC, Infosys, TCS, HUL and Hero Honda are down 1% each.

The market breadth is positive, out of 2,580 shares traded, 1,607 have advanced and 877 have declined so far on the BSE.
