The Raiway Budget is being presented in the Parliament now and Sensex is exhibiting rangebound movement.
The index is now at 14,737, up 78 points.
The BSE Power and Capital Goods have advanced over 1% each while IT on the other hand has slipped 1%.
HDFC has soared around 3% to Rs 2,465.
Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Power and NTPC have advanced over 2% to Rs 730, Rs 1,197 and Rs 204, respectively.
BHEL is up 1.5% at Rs 2,186.
Infosys on the other hand is down 1.5% at Rs 1,770.
The market breadth is maginally positive, out of 2,392 shares traded, 1,195 have advanced and 1,095 have declined so far on the BSE.
