Sensex pares gains, now up 190pts

The Sensex is now up 190 points at 10,856.

The index had touched earlier gains 385 points at the day's high of 11,051.

Tata Steel has zoomed 6.7% (Rs 34) to Rs 548. Cipla has surged 5% to Rs 235.

HDFC, Bajaj Auto and Larsen & Toubro have soared over 4% each to Rs 1,200, Rs 2,903 and Rs 2,390, respectively.

BHEL and Infosys have gained 3.5% each at Rs 1,971 and Rs 2,936, respectively.
